The end is near….

The end is near! On Sept. 21st to be exact. I think I’ll start at the beginning this weekend.

The Dark Tower web site and print advirtising used “The end is near, start at the beginning” last year when they re-released the earlier books. Its been stuck in my head since then.

Now its almost time….THE END IS NEAR!

[Update 9/21: THE END IS HERE! I just picked it up at the bookstore. Gotta wait for the train home to read it. If no one hears from me for 3 days, this is why.]

    Ha, this is funny. I see the title The End is Near and the date September 21 and think ‘awww… Dark Tower’, then I read the rest of the post and it IS about DT! Nice to meet a fellow King..er? You probably know it’s Mr King’s birthday as well, September 21, that is.
    I myself am reading DT6 at the moment.
    Oh yeah, I came across your site via dannyman.toldme.com (and there I got from WP’s site). Greetings from Finland :)

    I finished DT6 two days after it was out. I’m going to get 7 today at lunch.

    Linux is wonderful :) I’m studying (minoring) in the same place where it all started…

    *green with envy* I have no idea when DT7 is going to arrive in Finland (not that I could read it yet… silly me, I just went and borrowed a 1200-page Hannibal omnibus from the library so now I’m going to have to read *that* first) but I thought I could go ask someone at the bookstore tomorrow. Then I’ll just have to wait.
